Jopwell Sports Jobs Survey Sweepstakes (the “Sweepstakes”) begins January 18, 2022 at 12:00 a.m. Eastern Time (“ET”) and ends at 11:59 p.m. ET on February 18, 2022 (“Sweepstakes Period”).  

This Sweepstakes is open only to legal residents of the 50 United States and District of Columbia, and who are 18 years of age or older as of the date of entry.  If an entrant is a resident of a jurisdiction that deems him/her to be a minor, even if he/she is 18 years of age or older, he/she must obtain parental/legal guardian consent prior to entering the Sweepstakes or submitting any personally identifiable information to Sponsor. Employees of Jopwell, Inc. (the “Sponsor”), The National Hockey League (NHL), Propeller Insights, LLC, their respective affiliates, parents, subsidiaries, divisions, suppliers, distributors and advertising, promotional and judging agencies (collectively, the “Sponsor and its Administrators”), and their affiliates and each of their respective employees, shareholders, directors, officers, members, assigns and agents ( all of the foregoing collectively, the “Sweepstakes Entities”)  and their immediate family members and/or those living in the same household of each are not eligible to participate or win.  Void outside of the 50 United States and District of Columbia and where prohibited and subject to all federal, state and local laws. 

No Purchase is necessary to enter or win. Participants will receive an original email with a link to participate in a survey. Shared or forwarded links will not count for entry. Once you access the original link, follow the online instructions to complete and submit the survey to receive one (1) entry into the Sweepstakes. To be eligible, an entrant’s survey must be completed and submitted in accordance with the survey requirements.  Limit one entry per person and per email address. Any attempt by an entrant to obtain more than the stated number of entries by using multiple/different email addresses, will void that entrant’s Sweepstakes entry and that entrant may be disqualified, at Sponsor’s sole discretion. Normal Internet/data access, phone and usage charges imposed by your on-line or phone service may apply. Any survey response/entry or portion thereof that is, in the Sponsor’s sole discretion, obscene, profane, lewd, or defamatory, or is otherwise objectionable, or in any way is incomplete, indecipherable, or otherwise not in full compliance with these Official Rules, will not be accepted and may be disqualified. Entrants and winners acknowledge and agree that their entries/survey answers become the property of the Sponsor, which thereby has the right to edit, adapt, modify, reproduce, promote and otherwise use entries/survey answers in any way it sees fit. 

Winners will be selected in a random drawing on or after February 18, 2022, from among all eligible entries received during the Sweepstakes Period. Drawing will be conducted by a representative of the Sponsor, an independent judging organization whose decisions are final and binding on all matters relating to this Sweepstakes. Odds of winning will depend on the number of eligible entries received. Purchase will not increase odds of winning. Maximum odds of an entrant winning a prize are 1 in 100,000. Subject to Section 6 below, all prizes will be awarded and potential winners may be notified by e-mail. 

Twenty (20) Prize winners will each receive a $50 Sponsor-Specified gift code (Approximate retail value $50). Total value of all prizes: $1,000. All applicable taxes are the sole responsibility of the winners. Prizes are awarded as is. Limit one (1) prize per person. No substitution or transfer of prize permitted except at the sole discretion of the Sponsor who reserves the right to substitute a prize of equal or greater value. Certain restrictions and expiration date may apply to gift cards.

By participating in the Sweepstakes, entrants agree to be bound by these Official Rules and the decisions of the Sweepstakes Entities. The Grand Prize winners will be contacted via email and will be awarded a virtual code. In the event the winner requests a physical card, winner will be required to provide additional information to a representative of the Sponsor such as name, mailing address, and within 3 days of notification attempt or prize will be forfeited and an alternate winner will be selected. If a potential prize winner cannot be reached, does not respond within the time noted above, if he/she is found to be ineligible, if he/she cannot or does not comply with these Official Rules, such potential prize winner will be disqualified, and, in the Sponsor’s sole discretion, an alternate potential winner for the applicable prize may be selected from all remaining eligible Sweepstakes entries. Prizes will be delivered within 6 to 8 weeks of winner confirmation. By accepting a prize, the applicable prize winner attests to the provisions stated herein including the accuracy of his/her personal information and his/her compliance with these Official Rules.

The Sponsor is not responsible for any typographical or other error in the printing of the Sweepstakes materials or the offering or announcement of the prizes. The Sweepstakes Entities are not responsible for technical, hardware, software or telephone malfunctions of any kind, lost or unavailable network connections, or failed, incorrect, incomplete, inaccurate, garbled or delayed electronic communications caused by the user or by any of the equipment or programming associated with or utilized in this Sweepstakes or by any human error which may occur in the processing of the entries in this Sweepstakes. In the event of a dispute as to the identity of an entrant, the authorized account holder of the email address used to enter will be deemed to be the entrant. An “authorized account holder” of an email address is the natural person in whose name the email address has been issued by the Internet Access provider, or online service provider.  The Sponsor reserves the right at its sole discretion to disqualify any individual that tampers or attempts to tamper with the entry process or the operation of the drawing or website; violates the Official Rules; or acts in an unsportsmanlike or disruptive manner, or with intent to annoy, abuse, threaten or harass any other person. The Sponsor reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the Sweepstakes if it is not capable of running as planned, including, but not limited to, infection by computer virus, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failures or any other problems beyond the control of the Sponsor and if Sponsor wishes to do so, award the prizes from all eligible entries received prior to cancellation.

The Sponsor, the Sweepstakes Entities, and each of their respective affiliates, officers, directors, agents, and employees will have no liability or responsibility for any claim arising in connection with participation in this Sweepstakes or any prize awarded. Winner assumes all liability for any injury or damage caused, or claimed to be caused, by participation in this Sweepstakes or by use or redemption of any prize or by any related activities. Where permitted by law, acceptance of a prize constitutes permission for Sponsor and their affiliates to use the winners’ names and likenesses for promotional purposes without further compensation except where prohibited by law. By entering, each entrant agrees to follow these Official Rules and to release, hold harmless and indemnify the Sweepstakes Entities and each of their respective parents, subsidiaries, affiliates, directors, officers, attorneys, partners, equity holders, shareholders, members, employees, agents and representatives and all others associated with the manufacture, distribution, development and execution of this Sweepstakes and prizes (the “Released Parties”) from and against any and all claims, liability, injury, expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees), damage, loss or causes of action (however named or described) that may occur, directly or indirectly, in whole or in part, from: (i) entrant’s participation in the Sweepstakes; (ii) the delivery, misdelivery, receipt, acceptance, possession, use or misuse of the prizes awarded in the Sweepstakes; (iii) the use of a winner’s name, photograph and/or likeness as permitted herein, including, without limitation, claims based on publicity rights, defamation and/or invasion of privacy; (iv) any travel or activity related to the receipt, use or misuse of the prizes, including, but not limited to, personal injury, death and/or property damage, (v) any technical malfunctions of the telephone network, computer online system, computer equipment, software, or internet service provider utilized by this Sweepstakes or any entrant; (vi) interruption or inability to access this Sweepstakes, or any online service via the internet due to hardware or software compatibility problems; any damage to entrant’s (or any third person’s) computer or mobile device and/or its contents related to or resulting from any part of this Sweepstakes; (vii) any lost/delayed data transmissions, omissions, interruptions, defects; and/or any other errors or malfunctions, even if caused by the negligence of one of the Sweepstakes Entities.  In no event will any Released Party be responsible or liable for any damages or losses of any kind, including direct, indirect, incidental, consequential or punitive damages arising out of your participation in the Sweepstakes and any prize awarded hereunder. The failure of the Sponsor to comply with any provision of these Official Rules due to an act of God, hurricane, war, fire, riot, earthquake, terrorism, act of public enemies, or actions of governmental authorities outside of the control of Sponsor (excepting compliance with applicable codes and regulations) or other force majeure event will not be considered a breach of these Official Rules.

This Sweepstakes is subject to these Official Rules and all applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations. Issues concerning the construction, validity, interpretation and enforceability of these Official Rules shall be governed by the laws of the State of California. All disputes arising out of or connected with this Sweepstakes will be resolved individually, and without resort to class action, exclusively by a state or federal court located in California. Entrant further agrees that any claim/judgement/award shall be limited to actual out-of-pocket costs incurred, including costs associated with participating in the Sweepstakes but in no event attorney’s fees; and under no circumstances, will an entrant be entitled to awards. Should there be a conflict between the laws of the State of California and any other laws, the conflict will be resolved in favor of the laws of the State of California. All judgments or awards shall be limited to actual out-of-pocket damages (excluding attorneys' fees) associated with participation in this Sweepstakes and shall not include any indirect, punitive, incidental and/or consequential damages.

THE PARTIES HEREBY WAIVE THEIR RIGHT TO JURY TRIAL WITH RESPECT TO ALL CLAIMS AND ISSUES ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THESE OFFICIAL RULES WHETHER SOUNDING IN CONTRACT OR TORT.
